GRUPPO PIAGGIO: 300 PORTER NP6 PER POSTE ITALIANE

Piaggio Porter NP6, nelle nuove motorizzazioni ecofriendly, è risultato il veicolo che meglio soddisfa le nuove esigenze di consegna dell'ultimo miglio

Pontedera, 12 gennaio 2022 – Il Gruppo Piaggio (PIA.MI) ha avviato in questi giorni la fornitura a Poste Italiane di 300 veicoli commerciali leggeri a quattro ruote, Porter NP6, destinati alla consegna dell'ultimo miglio di pacchi e posta, che entreranno in servizio a partire dall'inizio del 2022. La fornitura, attraverso la formula del noleggio a lungo termine, fa parte della più ampia commessa assegnata da Poste Italiane a Leasys e LeasePlan, due delle società di autonoleggio più importanti in Europa, per il rinnovo del parco veicoli operativi.

Piaggio Porter NP6, prodotto negli stabilimenti Italiani di Pontedera del Gruppo Piaggio, è il primo city truck, in grado di unire dimensioni compatte a una portata straordinaria, con motorizzazioni esclusivamente eco-friendly. Allestito con uno specifico box di carico dal volume di circa 4 metri cubi, si è rivelato il veicolo più in linea con i requisiti del bando di gara per la sua categoria specifica (Autocarri leggeri ad alta manovrabilità, portata non inferiore 0,5 ton - alimentazione benzina/metano).

Le dimensioni compatte (la cabina è larga solamente 1,64 metri) e le nuove motorizzazioni da 1.498 cc Euro 6D Final CombiFuel benzina\GPL e benzina\metano, fanno infatti di Piaggio Porter NP6 il veicolo ideale per il lavoro in città, per la consegna dell'ultimo miglio e per il trasporto di merci a corto e medio raggio. Inoltre, le motorizzazioni CombiFuel sono disponibili in due differenti versioni, a seconda dell'autonomia GPL o metano di cui si necessita: Short Range, dedicata a un uso prevalentemente urbano, e Long Range, sviluppato per svolgere attività più impegnative grazie ad una maggiore autonomia e ad una portata superiore.

Rispetto alla precedente versione il Piaggio Porter NP6 è dedicato a un target più ampio, grazie all'incremento della portata utile, che cresce fino a circa il 30%, e all'elevata allestibilità.

A livello di portata a telaio le versioni con ponte posteriore a ruote singole possono supportare fino a 1.275 kg, mentre quelle con ruote gemellate superano i 1.600 kg, riuscendo a trasportare carichi ben superiori al proprio peso e mantenendo una massa a terra non superiore ai 2.800 kg.

PIAGGIO GROUP: 300 PORTER NP6 TRUCKS FOR THE ITALIAN POST OFFICE

The Piaggio Porter NP6, with new eco-friendly engines, is the vehicle that best meets the new last-mile-delivery requirements

Pontedera, 12 January 2022 – In the last few days, the Piaggio Group (PIA.MI) has begun delivery of 300 Porter NP6 four-wheel light commercial vehicles to the Italian Post Office, Poste Italiane, for last-mile delivery of mail and parcels. The vehicles will go into service from the start of 2022. Arranged on a long-term rental basis, the supply is part of a broader contract awarded by Poste Italiane to Leasys and LeasePlan, two of Europe's leading rental car companies, to renew its fleet of working vehicles.

The Piaggio Porter NP6 is produced in the Piaggio Group's Italian factory in Pontedera and is the first city truck, combining compact dimensions with an outstanding loading capacity and exclusively eco-friendly engines. Fitted with a specific cargo box with a volume of approximately 4 cubic metres, it proved to be the vehicle most closely aligned with the requirements of the request for tenders in its specific category (Lightweight trucks with high manoeuvrability, a loading capacity of not less than 0.5 ton - petrol/methane fuelled).

Compact dimensions (the cabin is only 1.64 metres wide) and the newCombiFuel petrol/LPG and petrol/methane 1,498 cc Euro 6D Final engines make the Piaggio Porter NP6 the ideal urban work vehicle for last-mile deliveries and short/medium-range goods transport. The CombiFuel engines are available in two different versions, depending on the required LPG or methane range: Short Range, intended for mainly urban use, and Long Range, for activities that need greater autonomy and loading capacity.

Compared with the previous version, the Piaggio Porter NP6 targets a wider audience, offering a 30% increase in the payload and impressive configuration options.

In terms of frame capacity, the rear-axle versions with single wheels support up to 1,275 kg, while the twin-wheel versions exceed 1,600 kg, transporting loads well above their own weight and maintaining a weight on the ground of not more than 2,800 kg.
