PRESS RELEASE
Milan, 7 April 2022 – Banco BPM informs that this evening it has taken note of the purchase by Crédit Agricole of a 9.18% stake in the Bank's share capital.
The high quality and standing of the investor, together with the appreciation expressed for our Bank in the release published this evening, represent a clear recognition of Banco BPM's value and potential.
The purchase of the stake has not been previously agreed with the Bank.
