Saipem 7000: incidente alla gru durante i test. Nessuna conseguenza per l'equipaggio
San Donato Milanese (MI), 14 aprile 2022 - Nella mattina di oggi al largo di Amoyfjorden (Norvegia), si è verificato un incidente che ha coinvolto la nave Saipem 7000. Dopo aver completato i test di posizionamento dinamico sotto la direzione del DNV, Saipem 7000 stava conducendo il test quinquennale di sollevamento delle gru supervisionato dall'ente di classificazione.
L'incidente non ha coinvolto persone.
Sulla base delle investigazioni preliminari condotte, sembra che il cavo di sollevamento principale si sia spezzato durante il test rilasciando in mare il carico (2 bettoline) e il gancio principale.
La nave, inizialmente inclinatasi a causa del rilascio, è tornata prontamente in posizione stabile e in sicurezza. Le verifiche tecniche della gru sono in corso.

Saipem 7000: crane incident during tests. No consequences for crew
San Donato Milanese (Italy), April 14, 2022 – In the morning of today off the coast of Amoyfjorden (Norway), an incident occurred on the vessel Saipem 7000. After having completed DP trials as per DNV testing program, Saipem 7000 was performing the planned 5 years main cranes load test, under the attendance of Classification Authority.
Nobody was injured during the incident.
Further to a preliminary assessment, it would appear that the main block wire broke during the test lifting operation and the testing load (two cargo barges) with the main block were released in the water.
The unit, after an initial tilting caused by the load release, promptly returned in a stable position and safe condition. A crane assessment is ongoing.
