Il nuovo Jack-up Perro Negro 11 si aggiunge alla flotta Saipem per essere immediatamente impiegato, per una durata di almeno cinque anni, nell'area del Golfo Persico
San Donato Milanese (MI), 11 luglio 2022 – Cerimonia di battesimo del nuovo Jack-up Perro Negro 11 che si aggiunge alla flotta di perforazione Saipem. L'evento, tenutosi in data 8 Luglio 2022 nel cantiere CIMC di Longkou (Cina), ha visto la partecipazione dei vertici manageriali di CIMC Raffles, Ocean Challenger e Saipem.
In coerenza con l'approccio "asset light" portato avanti da Saipem, il Jack-up (preso a noleggio su base "bareboat") è stato già assegnato ad un contratto della durata di cinque anni consecutivi (con ulteriori due anni in opzione) per lavori di perforazione nell'area del Golfo Persico sfruttando l'andamento positivo del mercato di riferimento.
In occasione di questo incontro è stato anche siglato un Memorandum of Understanding tra CMC Raffles e Saipem al fine di esplorare nuove collaborazioni nei settori "Off-shore drilling", "Off-shore construction" e "New Energies".

Perro Negro 11 new Jack-Up becomes part of Saipem fleet and it is already committed to a five years contract in the Middle East
San Donato Milanese, (Italy), July 11, 2022 – The new Jack-up Perro Negro 11 has just been officially christened and it becomes part of the Saipem off-shore drilling fleet. The ceremony has been held on July the 8th, 2022 in CIMC shipyard in Longkou (China) with the participation of CIMC Raffles, Ocean Challenger and Saipem.
In line with Saipem "asset light" strategy, the above jack-up (chartered on a "bareboat" basis) is already committed to a five years contract (with option for two additional years) in the Middle East.
In addition, during this event, a "Memorandum of Understanding" has been signed by CIMC Raffles and Saipem looking for future business opportunities in the segments of "Off-shore drilling", "Off-shore construction" and "New Energies".
