Net Insurance: Collected the first sums of the "Augusto bond"
Rome, 23 December 2022 – Net Insurance, following press releases of 24 November 2021 and 1 October, announces that it has collected the sum of Euro 3.8 million from Augusto S.p.A. in liquidation.
As a result of the payment of this sum, the total assets recovered amount to Euro 15 million.
In view of the serious breach by Augusto's liquidators, who did not meet the payment deadline of last 30 September, to which they had unconditionally committed themselves, the Company will take the necessary steps in the appropriate fora to collect the sums by way of interest and monetary revaluation for late payment of the amount due on maturity.
Without prejudice to the legal action already taken against the former auditing firm BDO Italia and against certain former executives and a former director of the Company, as well as that of the subsidiary Net Insurance Life with reference to the "Net Life Injunction Decree" against Augusto, the Company also reserves the right to take further legal actions against other liable parties, in order to protect its interests.
