Mondo TV: concluso accordo con Balocco per il licensing di Bread Barber Shop

Sottoscritta la nuova licenza per la property coreana in distribuzione da parte del Gruppo Mondo TV mentre la serie continua a essere in onda in Italia su primaria TV italiana dedicata alla fascia Kids

Lugano, 20 gennaio 2023 – Mondo TV Suisse S.A. ha annunciato che Balocco S.r.l., società italiana leader nel proprio settore con sede a Fossano (Cuneo), ha acquistato dalla medesima Mondo TV Suisse una licenza per il territorio in Italia, San Marino e Vaticano, Canton Ticino e Malta per lo sfruttamento dei diritti di licensing e merchandising della property Bread Barber Shop (n Italia la serie è in onda con il titolo "Il Barbiere Pasticciere") per prodotti dolciari.

La licenza prevede lo sfruttamento del brand per due anni. L'accordo prevede il pagamento di un minimo garantito e, in caso di supero del suddetto importo minimo garantito, di royalties da parte di Balocco a favore di Mondo TV Suisse per le vendite eccedenti l'importo del minimo garantito. Su tutte tali somme Mondo TV Suisse tratterrà la propria commissione pari al 30%.

L'accordo segna un altro passo, con un importante operatore italiano, nello sviluppo del piano licensing sulla property coreana, oggetto della serie in onda in Italia da parte di primaria TV dedicata alla fascia kids e distribuita dal Gruppo Mondo TV. Mentre infatti il licensing viene gestito dalla Mondo TV Suisse, i diritti audiovisivi sono distribuiti dalla Capogruppo sfruttando le sinergie di gruppo.

Mondo TV: new agreement with Balocco for the licensing of the Bread Barber Shop brand

The new license for the Korean property distributed by the Mondo TV Group has been signed while the series continues to be broadcast in Italy on primary Italian TV dedicated to Kids

20 January 2023 – Mondo TV Suisse S.A. announced that Balocco S.r.l., a leading Italian company in its sector and based in Fossano (Cuneo), has acquired from the same Mondo TV Suisse a license for the exploitation in the territory of Italy, San Marino, Vatican, Canton Ticino and Malta of the licensing and merchandising rights of the Bread Barber Shop brand (in Italy the series is broadcast under the title "Il Barbiere Pasticciere") for confectionery products.

The license provides for the exploitation of the brand for two years. The agreement provides for the payment of a guaranteed minimum and, in the event of exceeding the aforementioned guaranteed minimum amount, royalties will be payable in favor of Mondo TV Suisse for sales exceeding the guaranteed minimum amount. Mondo TV Suisse will withhold its 30% commission on all such sums.

The agreement marks another step, with an important Italian operator, in the development of the licensing plan for the Korean property, the subject of the series broadcast in Italy by primary TV dedicated to the kids range and distributed by the Mondo TV Group. In fact, while licensing is managed by Mondo TV Suisse, the audiovisual rights are distributed by the Parent Company by exploiting group synergies.
