Rome, February 1st, 2023 – doValue S.p.A. ("doValue", the "Company", the "Group") communicates that, thanks to the strong collection performance on the credit underlying the securitisation realised through the vehicle company Fino 1 Securitisation S.r.l. ("Fino 1"), in the context of which the GACS guarantee was granted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Class A senior notes of such securitisation have been repaid.
As a reminder, the Fino 1 securitisation, which was completed at the end of 2017, at that time comprised of approximately €5.4 billion (Gross Book Value) of loans originated by UniCredit. The securitisation saw the participation as investors of funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group, funds managed by King Street Capital Management and UniCredit itself.
The doValue Group, since the structuring of the transaction, assumed the roles of master servicer and special servicer.
The reimbursement of the Class A senior notes of the Fino 1 securitisation, the first case of its kind since the introduction of the GACS scheme in 2016, is an important signal in relation to the collection capabilities of doValue, also considering the market volatility which has characterised the COVID period (2020-2021) which led to a general slow-down of the collection processes across the entire Italian market.
