INTESA SANPAOLO: EXECUTION OF PROGRAMME OF PURCHASE OF OWN SHARES FOR ANNULMENT IN THE PERIOD 27 FEBRUARY - 3 MARCH 2023
Turin - Milan, 6 March 2023 – With reference to the execution of the programme of purchase of own shares for annulment (buyback), which was disclosed to the market on 6 February 2023 and launched on 13 February 2023, Intesa Sanpaolo, pursuant to Article 2 of the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052 of 8 March 2016, communicates that - on the basis of information provided by Morgan Stanley Europe SE, the third-party intermediary appointed to execute the programme in full independence and without any involvement of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group - from 27 February to 3 March 2023 the Bank executed the purchase transactions summarised in the table below on the regulated market Euronext Milan managed by Borsa Italiana.

From 27 February to 3 March 2023, Intesa Sanpaolo purchased a total of 63,664,093 shares, equal to around 0.34% of its share capital, at an average purchase price of 2.5455 euro per share, for a total countervalue of 162,058,823.02 euro.
As at 3 March 2023, Intesa Sanpaolo had purchased a total of 240,541,224 shares since the launch of the programme, equal to around 1.27% of its share capital, at an average purchase price of 2.5248 euro per share, for a total countervalue of 607,321,749.61 euro.
