RATING DI SOSTENIBILITÀ: L'AGENZIA INDIPENDENTE STANDARD ETHICS ASSEGNA UN OUTLOOK POSITIVO A BANCA POPOLARE DI SONDRIO

CONFERMATI IL CORPORATE RATING A "EE" E IL RATING DI SOSTENIBILITA' DI LUNGO PERIODO A "EE+"

Banca Popolare di Sondrio comunica che, in data odierna, l'agenzia indipendente Standard Ethics, al termine del processo di revisione annuale del giudizio, ha assegnato un outlook positivo a Banca Popolare di Sondrio e, al contempo, ha confermato il corporate rating a "EE" e il rating di sostenibilità di lungo periodo a "EE+"

Nel suo rapporto finale, l'agenzia afferma che l'istituto, nato dalla tradizione delle banche popolari italiane con forte radicamento territoriale, a oltre un anno dal passaggio a "società per azioni", ha saputo tener fede alle proprie origini, coniugandole con le nuove sfide in ambito ESG. Nel corso del 2022 e nella prima parte del 2023, sono state introdotte, in particolare, proposte di modifica statutaria in tema di governance, l'integrazione dei fattori ESG nelle strategie aziendali di medio e lungo periodo, nonché nell'ESG Risk Management.

Di seguito, per completezza informativa, si riporta la scala dei giudizi utilizzata da Standard Ethics per individuare il livello di conformità delle politiche aziendali rispetto ai parametri ESG fissati dalle principali istituzioni internazionali, presi a riferimento per le valutazioni da parte dell'agenzia.

SUSTAINABILITY RATING: INDEPENDENT AGENCY STANDARD ETHICS ASSIGNS POSITIVE OUTLOOK TO BANCA POPOLARE DI SONDRIO

CORPORATE RATING AT "EE" AND LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY RATING AT "EE+" CONFIRMED

Banca Popolare di Sondrio announces that today, the independent agency Standard Ethics, upon completion of its annual rating review process, assigned a positive outlook to Banca Popolare di Sondrio and, at the same time, confirmed the corporate rating at "EE" and the long-term sustainability rating at "EE+".

In its final report, the agency says that the institution, born from the tradition of Italian popular banks with strong territorial roots, more than a year after its transition to a jointstock company, has been able to keep faith with its origins, combining them with the new challenges in the ESG sphere. During 2022 and the early part of 2023, proposals for statutory changes in governance and the integration of ESG factors into medium- and long-term business strategies, as well as ESG Risk Management, were introduced.

Below, for completeness of information, is the rating scale used by Standard Ethics to identify the level of compliance of corporate policies with the ESG parameters set by leading international institutions, which are taken as a reference for the agency's assessments.
