90 EURO MILLION OF NEW ORDERS SIGNED WITH MBDA FOR ASTER 30 BOARD OF DIRECTORS PROPOSAL FOR THE 28 APRIL 2023 SHAREHOLDERS MEETING RELATING TO ITEM 3.4 OF THE AGENDA

Rome, 17 April 2023 - Avio S.p.A. ("Avio"), announces the award of a 90 million Euros order for the boosters of the Aster-30 defense system with MBDA.

The contract strengthens the already solid tactical propulsion activities' backlog, confirming the opportunities and business perspectives that have doubled in terms of both volumes and production cadences with respect to the original forecasts.

Giulio Ranzo, Avio's CEO, commented: "These orders strengthen Avio's positioning in the defense sector, which is receiving increasing attention from states following the events of the recent months. We thank our partners of MBDA for their renewed confidence in Avio's established expertise in the Tactical propulsion sector."

Avio also announces that, in order to safeguard the exercise of the voting rights of those entitled to vote in relation to item 3.4 on the Shareholders' Meeting Agenda and to prevent, as a result of the absence of motions, the inability of the Shareholders' Meeting to express an opinion on the Board of Directors' remuneration, the Board of Directors, meeting on April 17, 2023, adopted the Document entitled "BOARD OF DIRECTORS' MOTION ON ITEM 3.4 ON THE AGENDA". This document is filed at the Company's registered office, can be found on the Company's website www.avio.com in the section "Investors/Shareholders' Meeting 2023", and is made available at the authorised storage mechanism "eMarket STORAGE" ().
