PUBBLICA IL BILANCIO DI SOSTENIBILITÀ 2022

Prosegue l'impegno della Società verso un futuro sostenibile con la definizione di un piano strategico di decarbonizzazione

Torino (TO), 31 maggio 2023 - Osai Automation System S.p.A. Società Benefit ("Osai" o la "Società"), Società Benefit attiva nella progettazione e produzione di macchine e linee complete per l'automazione e il testing su semiconduttori, comunica di aver approvato e pubblicato il Bilancio di Sostenibilità per l'anno 2022, redatto in conformità dei GRI Sustainability Reporting Standard, il più riconosciuto e diffuso riferimento per la rendicontazione della sostenibilità, sviluppato dal Global Reporting Initiative.

L'impegno verso la sostenibilità è un elemento fondamentale della filosofia aziendale di Osai A.S. S.p.A. Società Benefit, come dimostrato nuovamente dalla decisione di condividere obiettivi e risultati con gli stakeholder attraverso la pubblicazione volontaria del terzo bilancio di sostenibilità, nonostante la Società non sia soggetta alle disposizioni del Decreto Legislativo n. 254/2016.

In linea con gli ambiziosi obiettivi posti dall'Europa per ottenere la decarbonizzazione entro il 2050 e garantire un futuro sostenibile per le generazioni future, il Gruppo OSAI è determinato a giocare un ruolo di primo piano nella trasformazione verso un'economia a basse emissioni di carbonio. A tale scopo, la Società investirà nella definizione di un piano strategico di decarbonizzazione, con l'obiettivo di essere tra i primi gruppi quotati al mondo nel settore dell'automazione industriale a offrire soluzioni sostenibili.

L'impegno del Gruppo OSAI si traduce quotidianamente in azioni concrete, investendo in sostenibilità ed adottando misure significative per ridurre l'impatto ambientale dei processi produttivi.

In particolare, durante il 2022 sono state evidenziate importanti performance tra le quali:

• 100% dell'energia elettrica proveniente da fonti rinnovabili (zero emissioni di CO2);
• 99,8% di rifiuti avviati a riciclo;
• 115,2 tonnellate di CO² risparmiate grazie alla promozione dello smart working e del car pooling che ha permesso di evitare 31.750 viaggi casa-lavoro nel 2022;
• 4.951 ore di formazione per 23 ore medie/annue per dipendente erogate nel 2022;

• Selezione dei fornitori basata su criteri sociali, ambientali e prestazionali per una valutazione rigorosa della Supply Chain secondo il Codice Etico OSAI e le Procedure del sistema di gestione qualità ISO 9001:2015;
• 4 i progetti sostenuti in favore dello sviluppo socio-economico della comunità rivolti principalmente al mondo delle persone con disabilità.

Lo svolgimento continuo dell'attività di ricerca e sviluppo è un aspetto connaturato all'identità stessa di Osai A.S. S.p.A. Società Benefit. Nell'ultimo anno sono stati desinati al Settore Innovazione & Sviluppo 2,92 milioni di euro, corrispondenti al 9,2% dei ricavi totali del 2022, per promuovere la ricerca anche a beneficio della sostenibilità economica. Osai può vantare negli ultimi quindici anni di attività un tasso di crescita media annua del +11%, con ricavi pari a 31,6 milioni di euro nell'esercizio 2022.

La Società si impegna quotidianamente a preservare anche il benessere psicofisico dei propri dipendenti, promuovendo lo sviluppo delle competenze, l'implementazione di programmi di welfare aziendale e un equilibrio armonioso tra lavoro, vita personale e familiare, per un miglioramento effettivo della qualità della vita. In tal senso, la Società adotta diverse misure per favorire il work-life balance, come lo smart working e la flessibilità degli orari di lavoro. Da anni il management ha messo a punto un piano di welfare aziendale strutturato che include anche assicurazioni sanitarie e previdenziali, nonché finanziamenti agevolati per i dipendenti.

Il Bilancio di Sostenibilità di Osai evidenzia risultati positivi anche per l'attenzione alla sicurezza sul lavoro, con zero casi di malattie professionali in tutto il 2022, anno in cui è cresciuto il numero di dipendenti, che ha raggiunto le 212 persone, con un incremento del 7,6% rispetto al 2021.

Osai si è distinta, inoltre, per l'impegno verso progetti di sostenibilità sociale sul territorio. Nel 2022, sono state molteplici le iniziative a favore dello sviluppo socioeconomico della comunità del Canavese, in particolare quelle volte all'inclusione sociale in azienda e alla valorizzazione degli individui con disabilità.

Durante il 2022, Osai ha ricevuto, inoltre, importanti riconoscimenti a livello nazionale, che testimoniano i valori che l'azienda promuove, sia internamente che esternamente. Si segnala che la Società è stata inserita al 46º posto nella classifica "Campioni dell'Export", espressione di innovazione, tenacia, sostenibilità e resilienza delle imprese italiane. Ha ricevuto il premio "Legalità & Profitto Award", che riconosce le migliori 100 eccellenze imprenditoriali per Rating di legalità, redditività e solidità nel 2022. Osai è stata inoltre riconosciuta come "Leader della sostenibilità" dal ilSole24Ore e Statista, che celebrano le imprese che si sono distinte per il loro impegno nella transizione ecologica, etica, sociale e di governance oltre ad aver conseguito il rating silver rilasciato da

Ecovadis, uno dei rating più affidabili al mondo per la valutazione della sostenibilità aziendale. Per il secondo anno consecutivo, la Società ha ricevuto infine il riconoscimento "Women Value Company", per la promozione e valorizzazione del talento femminile.

PUBLISHES SUSTAINABILITY REPORT 2022

The Company's commitment to a sustainable future continues with the definition of a strategic decarbonisation plan

Turin, May 31st, 2023 - Osai Automation System S.p.A. Società Benefit (Ticker: OSA), a Benefit Company that operates in the field of design and production of machines and complete lines for automation and testing on semiconductors, announces that it has approved and published its Sustainability Report for the year 2022, drawn up in accordance with the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standard, the most successful and widely used reference for sustainability reporting, developed by the Global Reporting Initiative.

The commitment to sustainability is a fundamental element of the corporate philosophy of Osai A.S. S.p.A. Società Benefit, as demonstrated once again by the decision to share objectives and results with stakeholders through the voluntary publication of the third Sustainability Report, despite the fact that the Company is not subject to the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 254/2016.

In line with the ambitious targets set by Europe to achieve decarbonisation by 2050 and ensure a sustainable future for future generations, the OSAI Group is determined to play a leading role in the transition to a low-carbon economy. To this end, the company will invest in the definition of a strategic decarbonisation plan, with the aim of becoming one of the first listed groups in the world to offer sustainable solutions in the industrial automation sector.

The OSAI Group's commitment is translated into concrete actions on a daily basis, investing in sustainability and taking significant measures to reduce the environmental impact of its production processes.

In particular, important performance were highlighted during 2022, including:

• 100% of electricity from renewable sources, with zero CO² emissions;
• 99.8% of waste sent for recycling;
• 115.2 tonnes of CO2 saved thanks to the promotion of smart working and car pooling, resulting in 31,750 home-work journeys avoided in 2022;
• 4,951 training hours for an average of 23 hours/year per employee provided in 2022;

• Selection of suppliers based on social, environmental and performance criteria for a rigorous evaluation of the supply chain according to the OSAI Code of Ethics and the ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management System Procedures;
• 4 projects supported in favour of the socio-economic development of the community, mainly targeting the world of people with disabilities.

The continuous pursuit of research and development is an aspect inherent to the very identity of Osai A.S. S.p.A. Società Benefit. Last year, 2.92 million euros, 9.2% of the total revenue for 2022, was allocated to the Innovation & Development sector to promote research, also for the benefit of economic sustainability. Over the last fifteen years, Osai has achieved an average annual growth rate of +11%, with a turnover of 31.6 million euros in 2022.

The Company is also committed on a daily basis to maintaining the psychological and physical well-being of its employees, promoting the development of skills, the implementation of company welfare programmes and a harmonious balance between work, personal and family life, in order to effectively improve the quality of life. With this in mind, the company adopts various measures to promote work-life balance, such as smart working and flexible working hours. Over the years, management has developed a structured social plan that includes health and pension insurance as well as subsidised financing for employees.

Osai's Sustainability Report also shows positive results for its focus on occupational safety, with zero cases of occupational disease in the whole of 2022, and an increase in the number of employees to 212, an increase of 7.6% compared to 2021.

Osai also stood out for its commitment to social sustainability projects in the region. In 2022, there were many initiatives in favour of the socio-economic development of the Canavese community, particularly those aimed at social inclusion in the company and the enhancement of individuals with disabilities.

During 2022, Osai also received important national awards, which testify to the values that the company promotes, both internally and externally. It should be noted that the company was ranked 46th in the 'Champions of Export' classification, an expression of innovation, tenacity, sustainability and resilience of Italian companies. It received the 'Legality & Profit Award', which recognises the best 100 entrepreneurial excellences for legality rating, profitability and solidity in 2022. Osai was also recognised as a 'Sustainability Leader' by ilSole24Ore and Statista, which celebrate companies that have distinguished themselves for their commitment to ecological, ethical, social and governance transition, as well as having achieved the silver rating issued by Ecovadis, one of the world's most reliable ratings for assessing corporate sustainability. Finally, for

the second year running, the company received the 'Women Value Company' award for the promotion and enhancement of female talent.
