Saipem: aggiudicati due nuovi contratti E&C offshore in Romania e in Germania per un valore complessivo di circa 1,8 miliardi di euro

Con queste acquisizioni Saipem conferma il proprio ruolo di leader nella realizzazione delle infrastrutture lungo l'intera catena del valore del gas naturale

Milano, 3 agosto 2023 - Saipem si è aggiudicata due nuovi contratti per attività E&C offshore in Europa, specificamente in Romania e in Germania, per un valore complessivo di circa 1,8 miliardi di euro.

Il primo contratto è relativo al progetto Neptun Deep Gas Development in Romania, nel Mar Nero, per il quale si è conclusa la procedura di assegnazione da parte di OMV Petrom. Lo scopo del lavoro prevede l'ingegneria, l'approvvigionamento, la costruzione e l'installazione (EPCIC) di una piattaforma di trattamento gas a circa 100 metri di profondità, lo sviluppo di tre campi sottomarini (rispettivamente a circa 1000 metri di profondità nel campo Domino e a circa 100 metri di profondità nel campo Pelican), una condotta di gas da 30'' lunga circa 160 km e un cavo associato in fibra ottica dalla piattaforma in acque poco profonde fino alla costa rumena. La piattaforma di trattamento del gas sarà costruita nei cantieri Saipem in Italia e in Indonesia, mentre le operazioni offshore saranno eseguite dalle navi Saipem 7000 e JSD 6000. I test sulle tecnologie e le analisi dei materiali utilizzati nel progetto saranno effettuati in Romania, attraverso l'entità locale di Saipem a Ploiesti.

Un secondo contratto è stato assegnato a Saipem da GASCADE Gastransport GMBH per il trasporto e la posa del gasdotto "Ostsee Anbindungsleitung", nella baia di Pomerania, nel nord-est della Germania.

Le attività di Saipem prevedono il trasporto e l'installazione di una linea gas da 48" di circa 50 km, dal sito di Lubmin, nel nord della Germania sul Mar Baltico, al porto di Mukran, lungo la costa orientale dell'isola di Rügen, e la realizzazione degli approdi, utilizzando la propria nave posatubi Castoro 10. Il completamento dei lavori è previsto per l'inizio del 2024.

Queste aggiudicazioni confermano il ruolo chiave di Saipem e la sua capacità progettuale e realizzativa delle infrastrutture necessarie alla catena del valore del gas naturale.

Saipem: awarded two new E&C offshore contracts in Romania and in Germany with a total value of around 1.8 billion euro

With these acquisitions Saipem confirms its leading role in the construction of infrastructures along the entire natural gas value chain

Milan (Italy), August 3, 2023 – Saipem has been awarded two new contracts for E&C offshore activities in Europe, specifically in Romania and in Germany, with a total value of approximately 1.8 billion euro.

The first contract relates to the Neptun Deep Gas Development Project located in the Black Sea, Romania, for which the award procedure was completed by OMV Petrom. The scope of work entails the Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCIC) of a gas processing platform at around100 metre water depth, three subsea developments (respectively at around1000 metre water depth in the Domino field and at around100 metre water depth in the Pelican field), a 30" gas pipeline around160 km long, and associated fiber optic cable from the shallow water platform to the Romanian coast. The gas processing platform will be fabricated at Saipem's yards in Italy and Indonesia, and the offshore operations will be performed by the Saipem 7000 and JSD 6000 vessels. The technological tests and analyzes for the materials used in the project will be carried out in Romania, through the local entity of Saipem in Ploiesti.

A second contract has been awarded to Saipem by GASCADE Gastransport GmbH to execute the pipelaying of the "Ostsee Anbindungsleitung", in the Pomeranian Bay in north-eastern Germany.

Saipem's activities entail the transportation and installation of a 48" gas line of around 50 km, from the Lubmin site, in northern Germany on the Baltic Sea, to the Mukran port, along the east coast of the Rügen island, and the construction of landfalls, utilizing its own pipelay barge Castoro 10. The "Ostsee Anbindungsleitung" is scheduled to be commissioned in early 2024.
