EDISON: COMPLETATA LA CESSIONE DELLA PARTECIPAZIONE IN REGGANE NORD A REPSOL E WINTERSHALL DEA

Milano, 13 ottobre 2023 – Edison rende noto che a seguito dell'approvazione da parte delle autorità algerine - con decreto pubblicato nella gazzetta ufficiale in data 12 ottobre 2023 - degli accordi sottoscritti il 4 maggio e il 29 giugno 2022, è divenuta efficace la cessione della partecipazione dell'11,25%, detenuta nella licenza Reggane Nord in Algeria, a Repsol (6,75%) e a Wintershall Dea (4,50%). Il campo di Reggane Nord produce gas che è interamente venduto a Sonatrach in virtù di un contratto a lungo termine.

La società informa che rimane invariato il valore dell'operazione precedentemente comunicato, pari a circa 100 milioni USD (alla data di riferimento del 1/1/2022), così come tutti gli altri termini e condizioni.

Con il perfezionamento di questa operazione, Edison dà seguito al proprio impegno strategico focalizzato sulla transizione energetica e la sicurezza di approvvigionamento dei mercati energetici italiani attraverso investimenti per oltre 10 miliardi di euro tra il 2023 e il 2030.

EDISON: SALE OF THE STAKE IN REGGANE NORD TO REPSOL AND WINTERSHALL DEA

Milan, October 13, 2023 – Edison announces that, following the approval by the Algerian authorities - with a decree published in the official gazette on October 12, 2023 - of the agreements signed on May 4 and June 29, 2022, it has completed the sale of its 11.25% stake in the Reggane Nord licence, in Algeria, to Repsol (6.75%) and Wintershall Dea (4.50%). The Reggane Nord field produces gas entirely sold to Sonatrach on a long-term basis.

The Company informs that the value of the transaction is confirmed to be, as previously announced, of approximately USD 100 million (as of the reference date of 1/1/2022), and all other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

With this transaction, Edison confirms its strategic commitment to focus its investments toward energy transition and security of supply of the Italian energy markets with over 10 billion euros of CAPEX to be invested between 2023 and 2030.
