MAPS GROUP WILL IMPLEMENT THE DIGITAL HEALTH SERVICES OUTLINED IN THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE ABRUZZO REGION AND THE NATIONAL STRATEGIC HUB

The contract fee amounts to 3.6 million euros

MAPS (MAPS:IM; IT0005364333), an Innovative SME listed on Euronext Growth Milan and active in the digital transformation sector, announces that it has been awarded, through its subsidiary Iasi s.r.l., the implementation and integration activities of the digital health services of the Abruzzo Region outlined in the agreement signed between the Region and the National Strategic Hub.

Among the various tasks, Maps Group will oversee the enhancement and maintenance of the Abruzzo Sanità Online platform, the portal for digital healthcare services, integrating the delivery of new services such as celiac assistance, medical device distribution, outpatient and inpatient waiting lists, vaccination, screenings, and pharmacies. Moreover, patients will have direct access to their medical reports through the portal. Within this initiative, Maps Group will act as a regional orchestrator, guaranteeing interoperability between the Regional Health Authorities (ASL) and the portal.

To further advance regional healthcare digitization, Maps Group will also undertake the digitization and dematerialization of the process for selecting and changing primary care physicians and optimize the regional registry by integrating it with the ANA national registry.

Finally, Maps Group will oversee the governance of the healthcare services waiting list and provide the region with Clinika, a product equipped with sophisticated artificial intelligence systems and semantic analysis of clinical text, capable of assessing the appropriateness of healthcare prescriptions.

The total fee amount to 3,634,000.00 euros plus VAT, regulated by 2 different contracts:

• A biennial contract, totaling 2,902,000.00 euros plus VAT, governing the implementation of certain healthcare services on the regional portal, the supply of Clinika, the dematerialization of primary care physician selection and revocation, and the integration of the regional registry with the National Registry.
• A three-year contract, totaling 732,000.00 euros plus VAT, governing the implementation of remaining services related to screenings and the vaccine registry on the regional portal.
