Saipem riceve l'approvazione dal regolatore australiano NOPSEMA alla ripresa delle operazioni del Castorone

Milano (Italia), 13 febbraio 2024 - A seguito dell'incidente occorso durante l'installazione della condotta offshore in Australia il 30 gennaio 2024, Saipem informa che, in data odierna, l'ente regolatore del Commonwealth australiano NOPSEMA (National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority) ha comunicato il proprio parere favorevole alla ripresa delle operazioni con il mezzo navale Castorone.

Saipem sta lavorando a stretto contatto con il cliente per il riavvio delle operazioni di posa della condotta, ponendo la sicurezza come massima priorità.

Saipem receives approval from the Australian regulator NOPSEMA for the restart of Castorone operations

Milan (Italy) 13 February, 2024 – Following the offshore trunkline installation incident in Australia on 30 January, 2024, Saipem informs that the Australian Commonwealth regulator NOPSEMA (National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority) has confirmed today it is satisfied that the Castorone vessel may resume pipelay operations.

Saipem is working closely with its client for a restart of the pipelaying operations, with safety as the top priority.
