AVVIATA LA RICHIESTA DI RICORSO ALLO STRUMENTO DELLA CASSA INTEGRAZIONE ORDINARIA
Torino (TO), 7 maggio 2024 - OSAI Automation System S.p.A. S.B. (Ticker OSA), società attiva nella progettazione e produzione di macchine e linee complete per l'automazione e il testing su semiconduttori, rende noto che in data odierna si è provveduto ad avviare la richiesta di autorizzazione per il ricorso allo strumento della Cassa Integrazione Ordinaria (CIGO), a seguito degli impatti negativi generati sugli ordinativi 2024, dal protrarsi del rallentamento del settore dei semiconduttori e dal temporaneo slittamento di ordini legati alle attuali incertezze che influenzano i principali clienti globali nel mercato dell'e-mobility.
La Società ritiene che la CIGO, quale strumento di flessibilità gestionale, risulti al momento lo strumento più idoneo ed in grado di assicurare la copertura delle giornate non lavorate per l'anno in corso, permettendo di preservare comunque la sostenibilità economico-industriale del territorio, anche in funzione dell'impegno finanziario assunto da Osai nel corso degli ultimi anni attraverso investimenti strategici che mirano a supportare ed ampliare il proprio business nel prossimo futuro.

PRESENTATION OF THE DEMAND FOR ORDINARY REDUNDANCY FUND
Turin, May 7th, 2024 – Osai Automation System S.p.A. Benefit Company (Ticker: OSA), a company that operates in the field of design and production of machines and complete lines for automation and testing on semiconductors, announces that today it has initiated the request for or authorisation to use the Ordinary Redundancy Fund instrument, following the negative impacts generated on orders for 2024 by the continuation of the slowdown in the semiconductor sector and the temporary postponement of orders linked to the current uncertainties affecting the main global customers in the e-mobility market.
The Company believes that the Ordinary Redundancy Fund, as an instrument of managerial flexibility, is currently the most appropriate and capable instrument to ensure coverage of the days not worked for the current year, allowing the economicindustrial sustainability of the area to be preserved in any case, also in relation to the financial commitment made by Osai over the last few years through strategic investments that aim to support and expand its business in the near future.
