Servizi Italia renounces to acquire a business unit from Steris S.p.A.
Castellina di Soragna (PR), Italy, 15 May 2024
Servizi Italia S.p.A. ("Servizi Italia" or the "Company") - a company listed on Euronext STAR Milan and leader in the outsourcing of hospital services in Italy, Brazil, Turkey, India, Albania and Morocco following the information disclosed to the market in a press release dated 10 October 2023 and, most recently, in the interim report as at 31 March 2024 with reference to the preliminary agreement relating to the purchase of a business unit dedicated to decontamination and sterilisation services from Steris S.p.A. (the "Transaction"), announces that today it has communicated to Steris S.p.A. to have exercised its contractually agreed right to discretely withdraw from the Transaction as a result of the Company's lack of interest in the Transaction, without giving rise to any indemnity or reimbursement in favour of Steris.
