Saipem si è aggiudicata un nuovo contratto offshore da Azule Energy per il progetto Ndungu Field in Angola per un valore di circa 850 milioni di dollari
Milano, 16 maggio, 2024 – Saipem si è aggiudicata un nuovo contratto offshore da Azule Energy Angola S.p.A., società controllata da Azule Energy Holdings Limited, una joint venture societaria tra Eni e bp, per lo sviluppo del progetto Ndungu Field, come parte del progetto Agogo Integrated West Hub, situato a circa 180 km al largo della costa dell'Angola. Il valore del contratto è di circa 850 milioni di dollari.
Le attività di Saipem riguardano l'ingegneria, la fabbricazione, il trasporto e l'installazione di circa 60 km di condotte rigide e di strutture sottomarine ad una profondità di circa 1.100 metri e il trasporto e l'installazione di condotte, connettori flessibili e 17 km di cavi ombelicali. Le attività di fabbricazione saranno eseguite presso il cantiere Saipem di Ambriz, in Angola. Per la campagna di installazione offshore, Saipem prevede di impiegare, per le attività di trasporto e posa delle condotte rigide, il proprio mezzo navale FDS.
L'aggiudicazione di questo importante progetto consolida ulteriormente il posizionamento di Saipem in Angola, sia in acque profonde che in acque a basso fondale, attraverso la fornitura di soluzioni innovative ed efficienti per ridurre i tempi di installazione.
Ai sensi dell'articolo 6 del Regolamento Consob in materia di operazioni con parti correlate, si informa che tale contratto è qualificabile come operazione con parte correlata – in quanto posta in essere con una società controllata di una joint venture del gruppo Eni – "di maggiore rilevanza" e che, in quanto "operazione ordinaria e svolta a condizioni equivalenti a quelle di mercato o standard", beneficia dell'esclusione ai sensi dell'articolo 13, comma 3, lett. c) del Regolamento Consob in materia di operazioni con parti correlate e dell'articolo 8.2, lett. c) della Management System Guidelines "Operazioni con Parti Correlate e Soggetti di Interesse" di Saipem.

Saipem awarded a new offshore contract by Azule Energy for Ndungu Field Project in Angola for a total amount of around 850 million USD
Milan (Italy), May 16, 2024 – Saipem has been awarded a new offshore contract by Azule Energy Angola S.p.A., subsidiary of Azule Energy Holdings Limited, an incorporated joint venture between Eni and bp, for the development of the Ndungu Field as part of Agogo Integrated West Hub Project, located approximately 180 km off the coast of Angola. The value of the contract is around 850 million USD.
Saipem's scope of work entails the engineering, fabrication, transportation and installation of approximately 60 km of rigid pipelines and of the subsea facilities at a depth of around 1,100 meters, and the transportation and installation of flexible flowlines, jumpers and 17 km of umbilicals. Fabrication activities will be executed at Saipem's Ambriz yard, in Angola. For the offshore installation campaign Saipem expects to deploy its FDS vessel, for the transportation and laying activities of the rigid pipelines.
The award of this important project further consolidates Saipem's positioning in Angola, both in deep waters and in shallow waters, through the provision of innovative and efficient solutions to reduce installation times.
Pursuant to Article 6 of the Consob Regulation on related party transactions, it is informed that this contract qualifies as a related party transaction - as it is carried out with a subsidiary of a joint venture of the Eni group - "of greater importance" and which, as an "ordinary transaction and carried out at market-equivalent or standard conditions", benefits from exclusion pursuant to Article 13, paragraph 3, letter c) of the Consob Regulation on transactions with related parties and Article 8.2, letter c) of the Saipem's Management System Guidelines "Transactions with Related Parties and Parties of Interest".
