Gas Plus: Longanesi Project – gas in through Long Production Test in the first months of 2025

Milan, June 18, 2024

With reference to the previous updates concerning the gas in timings of the Longanesi Project, lastly provided by the annual consolidated financial statement 2023 (published on April 29, 2024 on the website www.gasplus.it and authorized storage website ), please be informed that:

• it has been received today the authorization for the installation of the temporary facilities for carrying out the Long Production Test (LPT) for an indicative period of two years, while in parallel the permanent facilities will be constructed;
• the start of the Long Production Test, which will deliver gas to the national grid, is confirmed for the first months of 2025.

Gas Plus is the fourth Italian producer of natural gas (estimates by the Italian Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and Environment, "ARERA" formerly "AEEGSI") after Eni, Energean Italy and Shell Italia E&P. It is active in the main sectors of the natural gas supply chain, in particular in the exploration, production, purchase, distribution and sale to retail customers. As of December 31, 2023, the Group has 42 exploitation concessions located throughout the Italian territory, manages a total of approximately 1,800 kilometres of regional distribution network located in 40 municipalities, serves a total of approximately 53,000 end customers, with a staff of 137 employees.
