Aktia's Board of Supervisors appointed Kjell Sundström to the Board of Directors

Aktia Savings Bank plc Stock Exchange Release December 5th, 2007 at 8.45 a.m. In its meeting held on 4 December 2007, the Board of Supervisors of Aktia Savings Bank re-elected the present Board of Directors in its entirety for 2008. Mr. Kjell Sundström was appointed a new Member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Kjell Sundström, M.Sc. (Econ), born 1960, resident of Turku, has since 2005 been the treasurer of Åbo Akademi Foundation and the Chairman of the board of Directors of Veritas Pension Insurance Company. In connection with the appointment a member of the Board of Directors Mr. Sundström resigns as member of Aktia's Board of Supervisors as of 1.1.2008. Mr. Kaj-Gustaf Bergh will continue as Chairman and Mr. Dag Wallgren as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors.
