STOCKMANN plc Company Announcement 26.3.2008 at 13.30 TUIJA PESONEN APPOINTED AS HOBBY HALL'S ACTING MANAGING DIRECTOR Ms Tuija Pesonen, Hobby Hall's administrative director, has been appointed acting managing director of Hobby Hall, a Stockmann Group company, as from March 26, 2008. Ms Raija Saari, Hobby Hall's present managing director and a member of the Stockmann Group's Management Committee, has tendered her resignation for personal reasons in order to take a sabbatical. During Raija Saari's nearly four-year tenure as Hobby Hall's managing director, the company's earnings have swung from a loss to well into the black. Stockmann is immediately starting the search for a new managing director, with the aim of appointing the new managing director during the spring.
