Subscription of Citycon shares exercising stock option rights 2004 A

CITYCON OYJ Stock Exchange Announcement 22 July 2008 at 9.00 hrs A total of 6,403 new Citycon shares have been subscribed for in July exercising stock options A under the company's 2004 stock option scheme. The new shares were registered in the Trade Register today and will be traded on the OMX Nordic Exchange Helsinki together with the other Citycon shares as of 23 July 2008. The shares were subscribed for at a per-share subscription price of EUR 2.2732. Each share entitles its holder to one vote and to a dividend for the financial year 2008. Other shareholder entitlements became effective today. Following the increase, the number of Citycon shares totals 220,998,989. The share subscription price was recognised under the invested unrestricted equity fund, so there was no change in the company's registered share capital, which amounts to EUR 259,570,510.20. The outstanding unexercised stock options 2004 A entitle their holders to subscribe for further 842,736 new shares. The share subscription period will expire on 31 March 2009.
