BOARD HALTS PAYMENT OF INSTALMENT DUE BY 2 JANUARY 2020 UNDER THE TERMS OF THE TERMINATION AGREEMENT REACHED WITH MR CASTELLUCCI OF 17 SEPTEMBER 2019

Rome, 13 December 2019 – At a meeting held today, the Company's Board of Directors has decided to halt payment of the instalment due by 2 January 2020 under the terms of the termination agreement reached with Mr Castellucci on 17 September 2019.

The Board believes it is prudent to halt payment of the above sum in view of the latest findings to emerge as a result of the investigation currently being conducted by the judicial authorities, and irrespective of whether or not it is a criminal matter.
