TIM announces that Federico Rigoni was today appointed Chief Revenue Officer, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, in lieu of Lorenzo Forina (who holds 50,000 TIM ordinary shares) whom the Company thanks for the significant professional and managing contribution given to the Group.
Federico Rigoni joined the Group in April, 2019 as Chief Procurement Officer, strong of his in-depth knowledge of the telco industry and of the ICT market matured over 15 years during which he has held important managing roles, first at Nokia and later at Ericsson, until being appointed CEO of the Italian operations at both companies.
His appointment is part of a reorganisation process involving the commercial structure of the Group, aimed at strengthening the commercial strategy, and customer value, also in light of the new opportunities offered by 5G, content distribution and the development of products and services concerning Cloud, Edge Computing and IoT.
The role of Chief Procurement Officer, held until today by Federico Rigoni, is temporarily held ad interim by the CEO.
Federico Rigoni does not own Telecom Italia shares.
