Subscription of Citycon shares exercising stock option rights 2004 B

CITYCON OYJ Stock Exchange Announcement 15 March 2010 at 9:00 hrs Subscription of Citycon shares exercising stock option rights 2004 B A total of 299,181 new Citycon shares were subscribed for exercising stock options B under the company's 2004 stock option scheme in February and early March. The new shares were registered in the Finnish Trade Register today and will be traded on the NASDAX OMX Helsinki together with the other Citycon shares as of 16 March 2010. The shares were subscribed for at a per-share subscription price of EUR 2.5908. Each share entitles its holder to one vote. The new shares entitle their holders to a dividend and equity return for the financial year 2009 as decided by the Annual General Meeting on 11 March 2010. Other shareholder entitlements became also effective today. Following the increase, the number of Citycon shares totals 221,715,474. The share subscription price of EUR 775,118.13 was recognised under the invested unrestricted equity fund, so there was no change in the company's registered share capital, which amounts to EUR 259,570,510.20. The outstanding unexercised stock options 2004 B entitle their holders to subscribe for additional 666,104 new shares. The share subscription period of B options will expire on 31 March 2010.
