STOCKMANN plc Company Announcement 19.3.2010 at 9.00 LAURI VEIJALAINEN APPOINTED AS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR FOR THE STOCKMANN GROUP'S INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS Mr. Lauri Veijalainen, currently working as the CFO for IKEA Russia and CIS, has been appointed as new Development Director for the Stockmann Group's international operations and member of the Group's Management Committee as from 1 August 2010. The present Development Director for the Group's international operations, Mr. Jussi Kuutsa, will take up the position of Country Manager, Russia, at SRV Group as from 1 August 2010. Mr. Veijalainen has long-standing experience and extensive knowledge of operations in the Russian market. Before his present position, he has worked as the Financial and Administrative Director for Skanska's Moscow unit. The central tasks of the Development Director for the Stockmann Group's international operations comprise the responsibility for the Group's administration in Russia and coordination of business locations between the Group's divisions.
