Amaro (Italy), 25 March 2020 – With reference to the Prime Minister's Decree published in the Official Journal on March 22, Eurotech announces that the assembly, testing and shipping activities at the Italian site in Amaro will be affected – since these activities by their nature cannot be converted to remote working mode. Eurotech also informs that it has sent to the Prefect of Udine the notice of continuation of part of the production activities, as provided for in paragraph (d) of art.1, as a long-term supplier – on the basis of sales contracts or tender contracts in progress – of companies belonging to the ATECO categories specified in Annex 1 of the Decree and therefore exempt from the suspension of activities. Therefore, starting from 26 March 2020 and until next 3 April 2020, the plant in Amaro will be operational
at reduced capacity and will function only for the portion of assembly, testing and shipping activities necessary to give operational continuity to the supply chain of these companies, always in compliance with the protocols and measures in force to combat and contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the workplace.
The activities of the administrative, sales and product development staff who can operate in smart working mode will also continue for the time being. The continuity of the central functions for the management of the Group and the coordination of activities at a global level remains guaranteed.
As far as the Group's foreign subsidiaries are concerned, the offices in Japan, the United States, England and France are operational and use smart working, in accordance with the regulations issued by the respective countries regarding the containment of Covid-19.
