Kauno Energija AB - Notification on material event

Heat price starting 1 of July, 2010 determined

Forasmuch as the heat price which is bought from UAB Kauno termofikacijos elektrinė starting 1 of July, 2010 increases by 13.1 % and as the price of conditional fuel increases by 11.3 % and because the new components of heat price were determined by National Control Commission for Prices and Energy on 18 of June, 2010 within its decision No. O3-104, the Managing Board of AB “Kauno energija” has determined the new end prices of centrally supplied heat (VAT not included): 1. The monomial heat price for the amount consumed, when the heat is supplied from the individual heat points owned by consumers - 24.76 ct/kW h. 2. The monomial heat price for the amount consumed, when the heat is supplied from the individual or sectional heat points owned by supplier - 25.61 ct/kW h. The price of hot water for the citizens of Kaunas, prepared in individual heat points owned by consumers - 16.24 Lt/ m³ (VAT not included). Those prices will be valid starting 1 of July, 2010. Please note that despite the fact that the price of heat which is bought from UAB Kauno termofikacijos elektrinė increased by 3.7% starting the 1 of April, 2010 till 30 of June, 2010, AB “Kauno energija” did not increase prices of centrally supplied heat during the period of the last two months. Additional information: The price of heat which is bought from UAB Kauno termofikacijos elektrinė increases by 13.1% starting the 1 of July, 2010 and comparing to 1 of April, 2010.
