Cargotec receives EUR 20 million order for MacGregor electric-driven cranes

CARGOTEC CORPORATION, STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE, 7 JULY 2010 AT 2 PM (EEST) Six open-hatch cargo ships ordered by Grieg Shipping will feature a total of 24 MacGregor variable frequency drive cranes; the order is worth EUR 20 million and was booked into the second quarter 2010 order intake. Cargotec has signed a contract to deliver six shipsets of environmentally-friendly variable frequency drive (VDF) MacGregor cargo cranes to Grieg Shipping's new 48,700 dwt open-hatch general cargo ship series. The ships will be built at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard in South Korea for the Norwegian shipping group.
