RESTRUCTURING IN FINNAIR'S EXECUTIVE BOARD

FINNAIR PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 6.8.2010 09:01 Finnair Plc's Executive Board will be restructured as of 1 September 2010. Deputy CEO, EVP Lasse Heinonen will continue to deputise for Finnair Plc's President & CEO and he will have line responsibility for Finnair's cargo operations, technical services, catering businesses, ground handling and facilities management. Erno Hildén, currently SVP Operations, will become the Group's CFO. He will also be responsible for Group's fleet management company, Finnair Aircraft Finance Oy. Ville Iho will move to become SVP Operations and, for the time being, continues as head of Resources Management. Position of the head of Resources Management will be filled later. Other members of the Executive Board are President & CEO Mika Vehviläinen, SVP Public Affairs and Communications Christer Haglund, SVP Customer Service Anssi Komulainen, SVP Sales & Marketing Mika Perho, SVP Travel Services Kaisa Vikkula and the new SVP Human Resources Manne Tiensuu, who starts at 1 September 2010. The Finnair Group's Board of Management was expanded from the beginning of June. In addition to the current members, VP Sales Petri Schaaf, VP Flight Operations Markku Malmipuro and VP Cabin Service Department Kati Lehesmaa were also appointed as members. In addition, representatives of all personnel organisations became permanent members of the Board of Management. Previously, membership of personnel representatives on the Board of Management had alternated between the various personnel organisations. In addition to the members of the Executive Board and the new members mentioned above, also SVP Catering Kristina Inkiläinen, SVP and Managing Director of Northport Oy Ari Kuutschin, SVP Cargo Antero Lahtinen and SVP Technical Services Kimmo Soini are members of the Group's Board of Management.
