Antti Salminen appointed as Kemira Oyj's Executive Vice President, Supply Chain Management

Kemira Oyj Stock exchange release December 7, 2010 at 14.30 pm (CET+1) PhD Antti Salminen has been appointed as Kemira's Executive Vice President, Supply Chain Management and member of Kemira's Strategic Management Board. He will take up the position on March 1, 2011 the latest. Salminen will join Kemira from KONE Corporation where he currently holds the position of Director, New Equipment Business, Asia Pacific. In this position he has been responsible for sales management, delivery management, and coordination of new product development for all elevator and escalator products in Asia. Prior to this he worked as delivery process owner with the responsibility to lead the development and rollout of global delivery process across all KONE business lines (includes sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, demand supply planning and installation processes). Antti Salminen will replace Petri Boman, who will leave Kemira at the end of 2010 to set up a business of his own."I would like to thank Petri for the excellent work he has done in setting up our global supply chain management and developing Kemira's logistics and sourcing.
