CHANGE IN FINNAIR'S HOLDING OF OWN SHARES

FINNAIR PLC STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 31 DECEMBER 2010 AT 10.15 On 31 December 2010, a total of 18 076 Finnair's shares have been returned free of consideration to the company. The transaction is related to the company's Share Bonus Scheme 2007-2009. The shares were conveyed in connection with the reward payment of earning period 2007 and are now returned due to the fact that the terms regarding service conditions of the holders were not fully met. The company now holds after these returns a total of 410 187 own shares.
