At the invitation of the Chairman of the Architecture Department, since November 13, 2000 until September 2007 he has been part of the Consultation Committee of the Architecture Department. After that, he performed his duties as a council member until September 2007.
From January 2003 to January 2006, at the proposal of the Turin Major, he presided over ITP (Agency for Investment in Turin and Piedmont). After that, he performed his duties as a board member until October 2007.
From March 2003 till March 2012, at the proposal of the president of UniCredit, he joined the Northern Piedmont Territory Council of UniCredit S.p.A.
Since April 2005 he is member of the Board of Directors of the Piedmont Foundation for Cancer Research.
From February 2006 to June 2010, he participated in the Executive Board of the Rosselli Foundation.
From 2010 to 2016 he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Industrial Union of Torino. In 2016 he joined the General Council of the Industrial Union of Torino, and in May 2017 he was appointed Representative of the territory at the General Council of Confindustria.
He served as President of the Piedmont Oncology Foundation from June 2011 to March 2017.
On the 2nd of June 2011 he was knighted Merit for Labour by President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano; starting from June 2014, he joined the Board of Gruppo Piemontese Cavalieri del Lavoro, and in June 2017 he became its Vice President.
In 2012 he was one of the founding members of Fondazione Cavour.
On the 5th of May 2016, in Montecitorio (seat of the Italian Parliament) he received the Guido Carli Award dedicated to the Italian excellences.

CURRICULUM VITAE
Prior to his current role he was one of the co-founders and partners of Brosio, Casati e Associati (established on 1 July 1990) and was a partner of Allen & Overy from 1998, when the two firms merged, until 31 December 2006.
His experience is mainly focused on contentious and noncontentious matters, in corporate and contractual law advising domestic and international clients. He specializes in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and corporate reorganization as well as in connection with generation transfers, governance and trust.
He also has arbitration and litigation expertise. He has authored a number of articles and given several lectures on international contract law and EU law, more specifically competition law.
He serves as director of listed and non-listed companies and he is currently a director of BasicNet S.p.A. (listed company), Fenera Holding S.p.A., Società Reale Mutua di Assicurazioni, Italiana Assicurazioni S.p.A., BasicWorld S.r.l. (Chairman), Farmaceutici Procemsa S.p.A. Lorenzo Boglione is Vice President for Sales of the BasicNet Group, a company listed on the stock exchange, owner of the Kappa®, Robe di Kappa®, Jesus® Jeans, Lanzera®, K-Way®, Superga®, Sabelt® and Sebago® brands.
Born in Torino in 1986, in 2010 he earned a Master's degree in Management at ESCP Europe and graduated in Business Administration at Torino University. During his 3-year Master's course he complemented his studies training in London and Paris specializing in business studies, an important step before joining the family business.
In 2007 he joined the board of directors of BasicWorld Srl, BasicNet SpA's holding company founded in 1994 by his father, Marco Boglione.
After a few professional experiences in Italy and abroad, in 2010 he joined BasicNet in the Business Development, the division managing the worldwide network of licensees for the brands of the group, focusing in particular on the development of emerging countries.
On May 2014 he was appointed Vice President for Sales Group.
In June 2017 he has been appointed Member of the Board of Directors of the companies Basic Trademark S.A. and Superga Trademark S.A. (of the BasicNet Group) and Legal Representative of the administrative seat in Italy of the two companies.

A World of Events was acquired (100%), by a new group (Alessandro Rosso Group), the 15th of may. Main activity in the change process:
A World of Events (AWE) and Alessandro Rosso Incentive were leaders in the Italian MICE market (meetings, incentives, conventions, events and sport marketing). Turnover : 80 million Euros; 200 employees, 1000 events done each year.
In the Merger of AWE-ARI:
Reorganisation of the company main areas; hr., sales, production and facility, administration and finance.
Synergy and optimisation of the work force, with a rationalisation program that led to a personnel cut of 15% of the over all workforce and costs, and consequently a 3 year PMT with a special focus on the growth of the group in a crisis period.
In Alessandro Rosso Group-
The main tasks were;
Rationalization of the group commercial and corporate areas and structure.
Lead the international development trough out a global analysis of the market and the acquisition process of other companies (bought a company in Shanghai).

In these years the most significant achievements were: In 1997 the creation, on behalf of the Benetton Group, of a motorbike team that had to participate to the World Motorbike Championship to promote Benetton-Playlife brand. In two years we had significant results, and in 1998 we contributed to Honda victory in the World Championship with 10 victories out of 16 races. We were second in the World Drivers championship with Marco Melandri, launching the young driver as a future star. |
