Klaipedos Nafta AB - Notification on material event

Regarding initiation of the procurement of liquefied natural gas floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU)

On 16 September 2011 the Board of SC Klaipedos Nafta allowed to initiate the public procurement procedure on acquisition of liquefied natural gas floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU). On the same day General Manager of SC Klaipėdos Nafta formed public procurement commission for the execution of the said public procurement and tendering documents were approved by public procurement commission. It is anticipated that FSRU will be leased under long term agreement or acquired under Build Operate Transfer transaction. Procurement contract will be concluded with the tenderer whose tender offer shall be deemed to be most economically advantageous under applicable public procurement procedures. Procurement contract will be subject to approval by the general meeting of the shareholder and other bodies of the company. It is anticipated that procurement contract will be submitted for the approval of the general meeting of shareholders of the company by end of January 2012.
