Kauno Energija AB - Notification on material event

Due to the Vilnius Commercial Arbitration Court decision

On 19 December, 2011 Vilnius Commercial Arbitration Court has tried a case No. 203 between a plaintiff AB “Kauno energija” and a defendant UAB Kauno termofikacijos elektrinė due to the inappropriate fulfilment of the Investments agreement and has decided to sentence to pay a fine of 7.053.540 Lt (seven million fifty three thousand five hundred and forty Litas) as well as statutory interest from this sum and a compensation of part of litigation costs from defendant UAB Kauno termofikacijos elektrinė in favour of plaintiff AB „Kauno energija“. This decision of the Vilnius commercial arbitration court is final and obligatory for the both sides of litigation.
