Andreas Remmer (b. 1974) has been appointed the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Viking Line. Mr Remmer will be a member of Group Management and will start in his new post in August 2013. Mr Remmer has most recently worked as Senior Vice President at DVB Bank in Singapore. He has long experience in international financing in shipping and offshore, and has previously worked in Singapore, Hong Kong, Oslo and Stockholm. Mr Remmer follows Executive Vice President Kent Nyström who will retire on pension in January 2014.
