Klaipedos Nafta AB - Notification on material event

The Supreme Court of Lithuania refused to accept the cassation appeal of AB Kauno Dujotiekio Statyba

On 5 August 2013 AB Klaipėdos Nafta (hereinafter, the Company) received a ruling from the Supreme Court of Lithuania, whereby it refused to accept the cassation appeal of AB Kauno Dujotiekio Statyba regarding revision of the judgement of the Court of Appeal of Lithuania, dated 28 June 2013 (the Company notified about the progress of the proceedings by giving notifications on material events on 29 January 2013, 8 March 2013, 17 April 2013, 2 May 2013 and 1 July 2013). The indicated ruling of the Supreme Court of Lithuania is final and not subject to appeal. Following this ruling the dispute, related to the international procurement for engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the natural gas pipeline system carried out by way of negotiations with publication of a contract notice was settled and the Company had not breached any legal requirements when recognising the German concern PPS Pipeline Systems GmbH to be the winner of the procurement.
