Finnair redeems the EUR 52.4 million hybrid bond

Finnair Plc Stock Exchange Release 14 August 2013 at 9.40 a.m. EET Finnair Plc redeems the outstanding share of the EUR 120 million hybrid bond (ISIN Code FI4000005798) issued on 18 September 2009 together with accrued interest. The outstanding share amounts to EUR 52.35 million. The redemption will be made on 7 October 2013 in accordance with the terms and conditions of the hybrid bond. In November 2012 Finnair issued a new EUR 120 million hybrid bond. At the same time, Finnair repurchased by a public tender offer EUR 67.65 million of the hybrid bond originally issued in 2009. After this latest transaction only the hybrid bond issued in November 2012 will remain outstanding (EUR 120 million).
