Finnair Plc issues a EUR 150 million bond

Finnair Stock Exchange release 22 August 2013 at 16:50 EEST NOT FOR PUBLICATION OR DISTRIBUTION, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, IN OR INTO THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, AUSTRALIA, HONG KONG, SOUTH AFRICA OR JAPAN OR ANY OTHER JURISDICTION IN WHICH THE DISTRIBUTION OR RELEASE WOULD BE UNLAWFUL. Finnair Plc. has resolved to issue a EUR 150 million fixed rate unsecured bond. The funds will be used for general corporate purposes. The bond matures in 5 years and pays an annual coupon of 5 per cent. The bond offering was significantly oversubscribed and allocated to more than 100 investors. The Company will apply for the listing of the bond on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd. Danske Bank A/S and Pohjola Bank plc act as lead managers for the transaction.
