Klaipedos Nafta AB - Notification on material event

Natural gas supply safety component in addition to the natural gas transmission price established for the year 2014

AB Klaipėdos Nafta (hereinafter, the Company) hereby informs that the National Control Commission for Prices and Energy (hereinafter, the Commission) in its meeting of 11 October 2013 established natural gas supply safety component in addition to the natural gas transmission price (hereinafter, the safety component) - LTL 39.36 per 1,000 m3. The safety component established by the Commission will be in effect from 3 December 2014 to 31 December 2014 and will be applicable provided that the operation of the liquefied natural gas (hereinafter, LNG) terminal is started on 3 December 2014, and the Company has the LNG terminal operator's licence issued by that date. The safety component has been calculated referring to provisions of Article 1 of the Law on Amending Articles 5, 10 and 11 of the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on the Liquefied Natural Gas Terminal, having evaluated funds, necessary for compensation for LNG terminal, its infrastructure and connection installation expenses or their part, and the fixed operation expenses, necessary for ensuring the operation of LNG terminal, its infrastructure and connection, based on data provided by the Company. The safety component shall be collected, administered and disbursed to the Company or the LNG terminal operator by the natural gas transmission system operator AB Amber Grid under the procedure established by the Commission. The established safety component includes administration costs for 2014 established by the Commission - LTL 326,700.
