Rome, 18 May 2022 – ENAV informs that the European Commission (EC) issued the Decision EU 2022/773 dated 13/04/2022 with which approved the Italian Performance Plan related to the Third Regulatory Period (RP3) which covers the years from 2020 to 2024.
The approval has been provided following the positive opinion coming from the Performance Review Board (PRB), the body appointed by the EC to assess the operational performance of Air Navigation Service Providers (ANSPs), and consistently with indications included in EU Regulation 2020/1627 published by EC in November 2020, as well as in the Decision 2021/891 published in June 2021.
This approval concludes the process for the definition of the Italian Performance Plan related to the RP3 which was prolonged during last two years due to the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
The approved Performance Plan defines all economics ed operational parameters to be compliant with, in the 5 years from 2020 to 2024 together with Determined Unit Cost (DUC) for the years 2022, 2023 and 2024, which will be applied to airlines.
