The Transport Regulation Authority has approved today the launch of a new procedure to verify compliance with the Models for airport charges regulation, approved with motion No. 92/2017 of July 6, 2017, for G. Marconi Airport of Bologna, on the basis of a new updated charges revision proposal for the 2023-2026 period presented by AdB S.p.A. on January 17, 2023, not having reached an agreement with Users on December 5, 2022.
The new charges proposal will be presented to airport Users with the launch, on January 31, 2023, of a renewed consultation procedure between the airport management company and the airport Users. The new Public hearing will be held on March 2, 2023.
As part of the User consultation procedure, in addition to the airport charges revision proposal, the service levels of the airport for the 2023-2026 period will be presented.
Communication of the launch of the procedure, together with the framework regulation and the documentation available to Users, shall be published on January 31, 2023 in a specific section of AdB S.p.A. website.

Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi di Bologna, classified as a "strategic airport" in the centre-north area of the National Airports Plan prepared by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, recorded in 2021 - a year affected by the global pandemic – 4.1 million passengers, ranking as the eighth biggest Italian airport by number of passengers (Source: Assaeroporti).
