COVID-19 UPDATE: MARZOCCHI POMPE STOPPED PRODUCTION ACTIVITIES UNTIL 3 APRIL

Bologna, 23 March 2020 - Marzocchi Pompe S.p.A. (AIM:MARP), a leading company in the design, production and marketing of high performance pumps and gear motors, following the issuance of the Prime Minister's Decree of March 22, 2020 which provides for a significant reduction in production activities in the country as a further measure of containment and management of the epidemiological emergency by COVID-19, announces that:

• As provided for by the Decree, Marzocchi Pompe will be operational in shipping until Wednesday, March 25th inclusive with regard to products in stock.

• On the other hand, production is stopped from today and will remain so until April 3, since the products manufactured by Marzocchi Pompe are not included, if not very marginally, among those of the Manufacturers' supply chains that can continue their activities during this period.

Marzocchi Pompe is considering how to apply the economic support measures for families, workers and businesses related to the health emergency, provided for by Decree Law no. 18 of March 17, 2020.

Having adopted all the necessary precautions from the hygienic-sanitary point of view, until last Friday, March 20th included, even though operating in emergency conditions, Marzocchi Pompe had guaranteed the full operation of both plants, both in Casalecchio and in Zola Predosa. A big thanks goes to all the employees and collaborators who have allowed this, with the awareness that their commitment will be just as certain and fundamental for a quick and effective restart of production activities, as soon as it will be allowed.

Finally, the Company would like to point out that the economic effects caused by the current pandemic are difficult to assess. In order to provide the market with constant and progressive information on the management trend, Marzocchi Pompe will communicate without delay the economic and financial impact of the Covid-19 emergency on its activities in compliance with the provisions of EU Regulation 569/2014 (MAR).
