Telia Lietuva, AB - Notification on material event

Arūnas Lingė will be a new Head of Finance at Telia Lietuva from 25 March 2019

The Board of Telia Lietuva, AB (hereinafter ‘the Company’ or ‘Telia Lietuva’) appointed Arūnas Lingė as Head of Finance from 25 March 2019 to substitute the current Head of Finance, Laimonas Devyžis, who after four-years of leading the Finance unit decided to leave the Company. His decision was communicated in December 2018.

Automation and robotization of accounting in hand with the digitalisation of the customer experience are on the top of our strategic priorities. I truly believe that Arūnas’ experience and knowledge will be a great asset to our Company that is driving a change programme”, said Dan Strömberg, CEO of Telia Lietuva.

Arūnas Lingė (born in 1975) has more than 20 years’ experience in finance management and accounting, improvement of business processes and control. Currently he occupies the office of Finance Director at UAB Western Union Processing Lithuania. Arūnas has started his career at audit company Arthur Andersen (now – Ernst & Young Baltic UAB), then he worked as CFO at AB Snaigė and UAB SEB Lizingas. He has a Masters’ degree in Management from Kaunas Technology University, and is Member and Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Arūnas Lingė is not involved in activities of other entities and has no direct interest in the share capital of Telia Lietuva.
