Nokian Tyres plc: Matter concerning magazine tire tests has proceeded to consideration of charges

Nokian Tyres plc Stock Exchange Release March 27, 2019 3:00 p.m. It has come to the attention of Nokian Tyres plc that the police has moved the suspicions of securities markets offences concerning the company’s 2015–2016 Board members, President & CEO and certain employees to consideration of charges. The matter is related to magazine tire tests and the practices related to them. On May 17, 2017, the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority filed a request for investigation concerning whether the company’s Board had neglected its duty to inform the security markets, and whether specific company employees had taken advantage of insider information when dealing in the company securities. The suspects have denied any involvement in criminal activity. The company will not comment on the matter.
