Nurminen Logistics has appointed Tero Vauraste as CEO from 6 December 2019

Tero Vauraste, Master of Social Sciences, joins Nurminen Logistics on 20 November 2019 and has been appointed as group CEO starting from 6 December 2019. Vauraste has been working as CEO of Mariadi Ltd.

Vauraste has previously successfully improved and expanded service portfolio with several logistics services providers. He has been President and CEO at Arctia LtD, Senior Vice President of Finnair responsible for Ground Handling Unit and Managing Director of Hertz car rental in Finland.

The impact of strategic main focuses at Nurminen Logistics, effectiveness of terminal services, volumes in China block train service and digitalization of over all functions, will grow.

Growing markets of Asia and Russia offer increased diversity of accounts and the company is developing their service portfolio in co-operation with the customers. Vauraste's leadership, international market know-how, network and strong experience will now be availble for building company's growth.

The current CEO, Ville Iho, will be leaving the company on 5 December 2019.
