Standard Ethics upgrades BFF Bank's sustainability rating to "E+" assigning a "Positive" Outlook

Milan, 21st November 2023 – BFF Bank S.p.A. ("BFF" or the "Bank") is pleased to announce that Standard Ethics Ltd. ("Standard Ethics"), an independent sustainability rating agency, at the end of the analysis conducted for the first time in solicited form, upgraded the Bank's Corporate Standard Ethics Rating (SER) to "E+" from the previous "E" assigning a "Positive" Outlook.

Standard Ethics highlighted the path initiated by the Bank in progressively aligning its governance of Sustainability instruments to the recommendations set by the UN, the OECD and the European Union. Additionally, it is emphasized how the aforementioned alignment process occurred in a formalized and structural way, in areas such as Diversity and Inclusion, cybersecurity, fraud risk and tax issues. Since 2019, the Bank's ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) reporting is in line with industry best practices and an ESG committee has been in place since July 2022. BFF's commitment is also tangible in other areas, such as environmental policies and ESG financial issues, which are currently being implemented and addressed through targeted policies or specific measures.

The recognition highlights the strategic importance of Sustainability and excellent governance practices for the Bank and its stakeholders.
