TIM: REQUEST FOR CONTINUATION OF DUE DILIGENCE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF SPARKLE

Rome, 5 December 2023

TIM announces that Optics Bidco, a subsidiary of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. ("KKR"), in confirming its interest in the continuation of the negotiations for the purchase of Sparkle, has requested to be allowed to deepen the due diligence activities until the end of January 2024, in order to have all the necessary information to submit a final offer.

The request will be submitted to the TIM Board of Directors' meeting scheduled for 14 December, which will be updated on the progress of the relevant discussions with KKR.
