Competition Authority has approved the sale of Apetit’s Grain Trade business to Berner

Apetit Plc, Inside information on 10 May 2022 at 11:20 a.m. Competition Authority has approved the sale of Apetit’s Grain Trade business to Berner Competition Authority has approved the transaction in which Apetit sells its Grain Trade business to Berner Oy. The parties have agreed to pursue the completion of the transaction by 31 May 2022. On 23 March 2022, Apetit announced it had agreed to sell its Grain Trade business to Berner Ltd. The transaction will include Avena’s Finnish grain trade business, as well as its grain stocks and port operations in Finland.
