The County Administrative Court in Gothenburg has passed a decision in a dispute between Stockmann and the Swedish tax authorities

STOCKMANN plc, Inside Information 14.10.2022 at 15:00 EET A decision has been received by the County Administrative Court in Gothenburg in a dispute between Stockmann and the Swedish tax authorities on the taxation of Stockmann's subsidiary Stockmann Sverige AB regarding its right to deduct interest expenses during the years 2017-2019 for a loan raised for the acquisition of AB Lindex. According to the decision, the County Administrative Court in Gothenburg approves Stockmann's appeal and confirms that Stockmann Sverige AB is entitled to a deduction of interest expenses, which corresponds to a lower tax cost of approximately EUR 13 million during the years 2017-2019.
